Privacy Notes
This is a simple, plain-language explanation of how this portfolio website handles information. Travis Peakman built this site to be practical and transparent, not to collect more than is needed.
What this site currently does
This website has no analytics, no cookies, and no tracking scripts. It loads no third-party JavaScript at all: the only two scripts on the page are its own. Nothing here follows you between pages or across other websites.
There are two ways to get in touch: the contact form in the Contact section, and the email address shown beside it. The form is described below. The email address is an ordinary link that opens your own email application, so anything you send that way goes straight to Travis and does not pass through this website.
The contact form
The form collects four things, all of them typed by you: your name, your email address, the topic you pick from the dropdown, and your message.
It is processed by Formspree, a third-party service that receives the submission and forwards it to Travis by email. That means what you type into the form passes through Formspree's servers, in the United States, and may be retained there. Formspree's own privacy policy covers what they do with it.
The form is used only to reply to you. Your details are not added to a mailing list, sold, or shared with anyone else.
The resume download
The About section links to a PDF hosted on this site. Opening or downloading it collects nothing and requires nothing from you.
Links to other sites
Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, and the project sites in the Selected Peaks section lead to services run by other companies. Once you follow one, you are on their site under their privacy policy, not this one.
If this changes
If analytics, a chat widget, spam protection such as reCAPTCHA, or any other third-party tool is added later, this page will be updated to say what it collects, why it is there, and who receives the data, before it goes live.
